Belmore North Public School Library 2022

Library lessons take place Monday-Wednesday.  Classes visit the Library once a week for borrowing and participate in technology lessons. Students may borrow books if they have a library bag and NO overdue books.

Library Times and Days

The Library is open for students during the first half of lunch between 1.10pm - 1.35pm on Mondays.

Library Monitors

Our Library Monitors hold a leadership position within the library and have set tasks and a number of responsibilities. They are accountable for shelving and the general improvement and maintenance of library equipment. Their willingness to commit their lunchtimes to the library is part of what makes it such a special place, and is much appreciated.

Overdue Books

Students with overdue books may not borrow.  There is no fine for overdue books, but students are encouraged to return books when they are due so that the books can be made available for loan.

Lost or Damaged Books

If a book is lost or damaged, students will be sent a note for the replacement cost of that item. Students will not be able to borrow until the book has been returned, or paid for.

Library Bags

Library bags are available from the Front Office at a cost of $15.
